Glenn leads the company by constructing an environment upon which his team can bring the best of themselves to work every day. ikeGPS has flourished into the most concentrated collection of utility pole experts anywhere in the world.

Glenn has a specific vision for IKE as a poles business. While recognizing the responsibility that comes with running a publicly-traded business, he believes a great company must extend itself in how they serve others. As a technologist, Glenn focuses on the enablement value of technology, while at the same time preserving the value of humanism — especially when it comes to the customer experience. He sees the two as inextricable.

In a world where CEOs and senior executives seem to operate with animated exuberance, which can often overshadow the participation of the team, Glenn has a unique discipline. He aligns all activities with IKE values, IKE culture, and IKE’s business strategy.  If it doesn’t fit, it never takes the stage. This approach is contagious and is evident across the whole IKE team.

Building the framework of IKE has been a long arc effort for Glenn and his leadership team. They have gone deeply into the study of precisely who IKE serves, and how to meet each of them as in-kind persona’s. Consequently, IKE has created a team to support every human being who is involved in the process of measuring and provisioning power and communications infrastructure.

Glenn brings to IKE a pedigree for the poles business which is supported by a balance of family and personal interests. He enjoys time with his wife and three children, backcountry snowboarding, and mountain biking. Born in New Zealand, he took his experience as a professional cricketer to Europe where he began to learn the art of business leadership at Imperial College London. That culminated in more than a decade of leadership roles at international Communications group, Cable and Wireless International, which managed more than 30 incumbent and new entrant fixed and mobile businesses. Prior to taking on the CEO role at ikeGPS, Glenn served as Investment Director and Advisory Board member with Venture Capital Firm No. 8 Ventures.
